The Northwestern Ohio Synod has been richly blessed by the greater church, the 2021 the Year of Generosity provides a wonderful opportunity to end the year by giving back to the greater church.

In the history of the Northwestern Ohio Synod, Lutheran Disaster Response has so generously walked with us at critical moments, as we have recovered and rebuilt after floods, tornadoes, and most recently, the impact of COVID-19. 

We are thrilled to be in partnership with Lutheran Disaster Response, supporting their remarkable mission as they offer substantial relief to those who are struggling from COVID-19, from political crises, and from natural disasters.

In 2020, Lutheran Disaster Response was active in 46 states and territories in the United States, and in 53 countries around the world, including our global companions in Mexico, Serbia, and Tanzania.

The Council of the Northwestern Ohio Synod is encouraging us to partner with Lutheran Disaster Response and endeavor to raise at least $100,000 for our brothers and sisters in the United States and around the world who are in need.

This Year End Ask will begin October 1 and take us through the end of the year. In this Year of Generosity would you and your parish partner with us, with Lutheran Disaster Response, and with God for the renewal of the world?
