Join Northwestern Ohio Synod, in collaboration with Maumee Valley Guidance Center, for a Mental Health First Aid Training!
The training will be held on September 30th, 2026, from 8:30am – 4:30pm at New Creation Church in Ottawa. There are only 40 seats available, so grab your seat soon!
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an evidence-based training program that teaches adults how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges. Much like CPR prepares someone to assist during a medical emergency, Mental Health First Aid equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to provide initial support to someone experiencing a mental health crisis or developing a mental health concern until appropriate professional help can be obtained.
