October is Clergy Appreciation Month, and on Thursday, October 10, I was blessed to gather with the Synod Staff to celebrate Ordination Anniversaries for many of our pastors and deacons. We met at the Heart Gallery at St. Paul, Toledo. Kate Philabaum decorated the space and prepared a delicious brunch for the attendees.
We celebrated ordination anniversaries in 5-year increments, beginning with Deacon Amanda Carpenter (5 years), through Pastor Bernell “Bernie” Bame (65 years).
