DESCRIPTION:Registration is now open for the 2026 Ohio Summer Youth Retreat!\n\n\n\nThe Ohio Summer Youth Retreat will take place at Hopewood Pines from Sunday\, June 28 to Wednesday\, July 1\, 2026. DESCRIPTION:Join Northwestern Ohio Synod\, in collaboration with Maumee Valley Guidance Center\, for a Mental Health First Aid Training! \n\n \n\n\nThe training will be held on September 30th\, 2026\, from 8:30am – 4:30pm at New Creation Church in Ottawa. There are only 40 seats available\, so grab your seat soon!\n\n\n \n\n\nMental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an evidence-based training program that teaches adults how to identify\, understand\, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges. Much like CPR prepares someone to assist during a medical emergency\, Mental Health First Aid equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to provide initial support to someone experiencing a mental health crisis or developing a mental health concern until appropriate professional help can be obtained.
