DESCRIPTION:Join Northwestern Ohio Synod\, in collaboration with Maumee Valley Guidance Center\, for a Mental Health First Aid Training! \n\n \n\n\nThe training will be held on September 30th\, 2026\, from 8:30am – 4:30pm at New Creation Church in Ottawa. There are only 40 seats available\, so grab your seat soon!\n\n\n \n\n\nMental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an evidence-based training program that teaches adults how to identify\, understand\, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges. Much like CPR prepares someone to assist during a medical emergency\, Mental Health First Aid equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to provide initial support to someone experiencing a mental health crisis or developing a mental health concern until appropriate professional help can be obtained.
